The Power of Partnership – Unlocking business action on Net Zero

In the Autumn of 2022, the Climate Change Committee (CCC) – the UK’s statutory independent advisor on climate change – convened an ‘Advisory Group on Business’ (AGB), comprised of senior leaders from a range of sectors, regions and experience across the UK. It will now consider the findings before making its final recommendations to UK government.

Circular Glasgow

Circular Glasgow is an initiative of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. It is a movement to inspire businesses of all sizes to innovate and become future-proof by adopting circular strategies. Connecting companies across the city, they help open up new revenue streams, increase competitive advantage and realise financial savings using a range of practical initiatives.

A circular economy is one in which every product is created with the intent of extending its lifespan and adding value wherever possible through this process. It is a direct challenge to the current ‘take, make, dispose’ linear economy mentality.
